Application of exhaust air heat recovery technology to residential buildings in hot summer and cold winter zones
Chen Can, Zhang Shaofan and Zhang Jianzhong
Based on the division method of energy-saving seasons, determines the beginning and end dates for air conditioning and heating seasons in the typical cities such as Nanjing where it is hot in summer and cold in winter. Calculates and compares the total energy recovered by exhaust air heat recovery units in air conditioning and heating seasons in Chongqing, Wuhan and Nanjing. The results show that much more energy-saving benefit is obtained by applying the total heat exchange ventilators to residential buildings in Nanjing and Wuhan than that in Chongqing all the year round. In addition, calculates the minimum running time of using the devices in the residential buildings in Nanjing. Puts forward the energy-saving operation mode for using the devices in residential buildings in Nanjing.
